March 18, The Bracket

Hey guys,

So it is finally that glorious time of the year when there is always something to watch on TV because from noon to midnight-ish, the NCAA tournament is on. It’s awesome that you can watch all games now too without going on the computer.

As I am sure you are all wondering, I will be releasing my picks. To this point, I have all of my Final 4 teams alive, and seven of eight teams left for the elite eight (Damn you Red Storm and your local hype.) So here is my bracket, and I will accompany it with a video of one of my favorite college games ever, last years National Championship. Enjoy.

Though my championship game is pretty conservative, I think my Final 4 is more daring than anyone else in my group.

Hey guys,

As a tribute to the recent success of the St. John’s Red Storm, I’m going to put up a video on the always entertaining Ron Artest. Artest is one of the last great players to come from the Red Storm. Enjoy.

Hey guys,

I’m going to keep it light on this post, and lay off the written word a little bit. Here are some concert videos you might enjoy.

This is a version of Californiacation by the Chili Peppers performed in front of a massive crowd at Slane Castle in Ireland. I literally think the entire Irish population came out for this one.

Here’s an early version of #36 by Dave Matthews Band. I wish they still played this song. It is so much better than Everyday!!

ALSO:

In recent headlines, Atlantic City’s Trump Marina Hotel and Casino has been sold to Landry’s, and will be transformed into a new Golden Nugget Casino. Check out the plans for the casino. It sounds like its going to be awesome.

Speaking of renovations. If you haven’t already heard, (this is old news) Madison Square Garden will be undergoing a transformation that will not be finished until October 2013. It is expected to cost between $775-850 million, so it should be pretty damn fancy. Check it out.
